In December 2009, Lexington Children's Theatre (LCT) earned a spot in the Top 100 of 500,000 competing non-profits throughout the nation in the Chase Community Giving Facebook Competition. LCT was the only non-profit from Kentucky to earn a spot in the Top 100. LCT earned $25,000 toward its operating budget through this distinction and now has the once in a lifetime opportunity to compete for a $1 million dollar prize during the second/final round of voting January 15 - 22.
