Microsoft Corp. To Provide 20,250 vouchers for free online training To Kentucky's Unemployed
Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 1:03PM Kentucky in partnership with Microsoft Corp. will offer a free program with the goal of helping the states unemployed get technology training in order to reenter the work force.
The program will offer 20,250 vouchers for free online training and certification that will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Microsoft will work with the Kentucky’s Office of Employment and Training to distribute 9,000 vouchers for online training, 9,000 vouchers for online testing and 2,250 vouchers for more advanced training courses.
For more information on how to obtain a voucher, visit https://kyelevateamerica.ky.gov. Kentuckians must claim their vouchers by April 27.
