Ophelia Lyrics, video at bottom

Boards on the window
Mail by the door
What would anybody leave so quickly for?
Ophelia
Where have you gone?

The old neighborhood just ain't the same
Nobody knows just what became of
Ophelia
Tell me, what went wrong

Was it somethin' that somebody said?
Mama, I know we broke the rules
Was somebody up against the law?
Honey, you know I'd die for you

Ashes of laughter
The ghost is clear
Why do the best things always disappear
Like Ophelia
Please darken my door

Was it somethin' that somebody said?
Honey, you know we broke the rules
Was somebody up against the law?
Honey, you know I'd die for you

They got your number
Scared and runnin'
But I'm still waitin' for the second comin'
Of Ophelia
Come back home

Jakob Dylan and Three Legs Featuring Neko Case and Kelly Hogan

Tour dates are in conjunction with his new album, Women and Country,

set for release on April 6th

"Jakob Dylan delves further into Americana music on Women and Country. With Burnett at the helm, this album is sure to generate a lot of Grammy buzz"- Filter Magazine

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 09, 2010 -- Jakob Dylan has announced plans for an upcoming nation-wide tour with his band Jakob Dylan and Three Legs, which features Neko Case and Kelly Hogan. The tour is set to kick off April 9th in Pittsburgh, PA in support of his newest album Women and Country set for release April 6th. Prior to the release, Jakob will showcase his album in Austin at this year's SXSW Festival, where he will be playing shows at Paste Magazine and Rachael Ray's annual parties.

Recorded in Los Angeles, CA, Women and Country finds Jakob reuniting with acclaimed Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe winning producer T-Bone Burnett (Robert Plant, Alison Krauss, Crazy Heart), who produced the Wallflowers' 1996 breakthrough album Bringing Down the Horse. Jakob is also joined by Neko Case and Kelly Hogan, who provide back-up vocals on 8 of the album's 11 tracks.

Soulful yet striking and ripe with sublime beauty, Jakob reaches new majestic heights on this release with his distinct voice and unparalleled songwriting. This, coupled with T-Bone Burnett's haunting production and the stirringly rich vocals by Neko Case and Kelly Hogan, creates a powerful and melancholic experience for the listener.

Backing Jakob Dylan up on the album's 11 songs are T Bone Burnett's acclaimed group of musicians including Dennis Crouch (bass), Jay Bellerose (drums), David Mansfield (fiddle & mandolin), Marc Ribot (guitar), Keefus Ciancia (keyboards), Greg Leisz (pedal steel), Darrell Leonard (trumpet), Ira Nepus (trombone) and George Bohanon (horns). Standout tracks include the opener "Nothin' But the Whole Wide World," which sets the tone of the album, the pensive ballad "Down on Our Own Shield" and "Everybody's Hurtin'," which showcases Jakob and Neko's moving harmonies.

Jakob recently joined the Court Yard Hounds (Martie Maguire and Emily Robison of the Dixie Chicks) in the studio to record "See You In The Spring" for their debut album. The track will first appear on a split 7-inch that will be issued in conjunction with Record Store Day on April 17th, 2010. The 7-inch will also include "Everybody's Hurting" off of Women and Country.

The story is based upon mythical Irish folklore as Don Dorcha, Lord of Darkness, challenges the ethereal lord of light, the Lord of the Dance. Battle lines are drawn, passions ignite and a love story fueled by the dramatic leaps and turns of dancers' bodies begins to build against a backdrop of Celtic rhythm. Start: Mon, 02/22/10 09:00 AM EST

For the second year under Henderson, UK has created an unprecedentedly challenging schedule, including non-conference action against some of the top teams in the country, in addition to a grueling 30-game SEC schedule.

"We are very excited about our 2010 schedule. It is one of the best in the country," Henderson said. "It is important to us to play a challenging non-conference schedule in order to prepare us for the weekly grind of playing in the SEC. Our schedule has some great teams and there will be some great games for our fans at Cliff Hagan Stadium this year."

UK will open the year with the Caravelle Resort Invitational for the second season, facing Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Coastal Carolina before returning home for a homestand with Murray State and Bowling Green. Following the home openers, UK will hit the road again with a quick trip to Morehead State before traveling to San Diego to play San Diego State, San Diego and Monmouth.

"I thought it was important that we test our kids early and get them ready for 10 weeks of SEC play," Henderson said. "When we got the extra week of competition in the schedule, we were able to add the trip to Coastal Carolina, which we are really pleased about. It is obviously three very good teams and we are going to be tested early in the season."

After the trip to San Diego, UK will host Evansville, IPFW and Wright State before opening up the grind that is the SEC with defending league champion Ole Miss. UK will host Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and LSU at Cliff Hagan Stadium, traveling to Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee and Georgia.

"The conference is going to be extremely competitive again," Henderson said. "We are going to have as many returning players as ever in the league. When you look at the rosters and stats from around the conference, there is no weak team. It is going to be a great challenge from week to week. It is an absolute grind, 10 weeks of tremendous competition in great environments for college baseball."

In addition to 30 games in the best conference in the nation, UK will have non-conference tilts with rivals Western Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana and Lipscomb sprinkled throughout the second half of the schedule.

UK's matchups with WKU, Louisville, Morehead State and Murray State have been entertaining competitive meetings over the last few seasons, speaking to how college baseball in the state has grown.

"I think when you have as many good programs as we do in the state, it is important that everyone plays each other," Henderson said. "The series that we have had in state have been extremely competitive and have created a lot of excitement and interest. As the programs continue to get better, the rivalries and fan support continues to grow, which makes for some great environments in the in-state contests."
